Gulfstream GIVSP Pictured |  | |  | The Gulfstream IV-SP is identical to the original G-IV but updated to include a bigger payload, higher landing weights, and improved payload range performance. The Gulfstream IV-SP starting making its appearance in September of 1992, while slowly replacing the original G-IV. The G-IV-SP is recognizable by its low/swept wing with winglets, its swept T-tail with swept horizontal stabilizer, and its two rear fuselage mounted engines. Each side of the fuselage has 6 large circular passenger windows for a great in-flight view. It can seat up to 19 passengers and is piloted by a 2 man crew. The Gulfstream IV-SP cruises at speeds up to 505 knots and has a range of 4,220 nautical miles. |
